Project 52: Leading Lines | Week 19

May 08, 2020  •  4 Comments

It's Friday and we are open for business for outdoor sessions! It's also time for our weekly Project 52 professional photography blog circle post; this week our theme was leading lines. In photography, leading lines are a composition device used to draw attention to the subject. For the image this week, I didn't stray far from home as Lola posed for me on the walkway to our porch. There are multiple lines that are drawing your eye to Lola...can you see what they all are?

All lines lead to Elaine Tweedy of I Got the Shot Photography, leading lines of dogs to the bathtub while social distancing in Northeastern PA. After you visit Elaine then head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

If you would like to book a custom pet portrait session, use the hot pink "BOOK NOW" button to the right of this post (at the bottom of your screen on mobile), send us an email to suzi [at], or give us a call at 513-288-1650 in the Greater Cincinnati area or at 650-382-3242 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Lola is certainly standing proud (and she looks good in pink!)
Lola is the perfect leading lady amongst these leading lines to her home. Home is the best place to be these days.

Good stay, Lola! I love how you framed her with the trees and she really pops off the shallow depth of field.
I found all the lines. Lola looks lovely in leading lines! (See what I did there?)
