Project 52: Creative Editing | Week 8

February 21, 2020  •  2 Comments

It's Week 8 of professional pet photography Project 52 blog circle and this week we're tackling "creative editing." For this week's challenge, I'm going back to my image from Week 6 "Shades of Gray." First, is the original image before I edited it for the shades of gray challenge and then is my creative edit.

The first image is the original as shot on a white background. The second image is the final "creative edit" with the white background now turned to gray. Next, see what creative editing is afoot with Tracy Allard of Penny Whistle Photography fetching portraits in Coppell and surrounding communities in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex, then head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

If you would like to book a custom pet portrait session, use the hot pink "BOOK NOW" button to the right of this post (at the bottom of your screen on mobile), send us an email to suzi [at] petlovephotography.com, or give us a call at 513-288-1650 in the Greater Cincinnati area or at 650-382-3242 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Ok, this is what I think a dog would look like if they've had too much caffeine LOL; cute expression and nice work on the background swap.

Background changes and drops are my favorite thing to do. :) This could be used as a commercial image based solely on the expression of the dog!
