Love | Project 52 | Week 7

Happy Valentine's Day! What better way to start the day off than with the topics of "love" and dogs. It's Week 7 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and our theme is, indeed, love. Last weekend I did a Valentine's fundraising event for Save Our Shelter Dogs Rescue. We had a lot of adorable dogs show up, and even a guinea pig! In addition to all the dogs that showed up to donate to the rescue, I photographed some adoptable pets from Save Our Shelter Dogs who are looking for love. I've photographed both Diego and Lexi before. I first photographed Diego two years ago and, sadly, he's still looking for his forever home. Diego is a great dog that is good with other dogs and people. I photographed Lexi last summer, but she's actually been with the rescue for five years. She's a happy, energetic girl who deserves a home of her own, too.  Besides Diego and Lexi, I also photographed Sofia, a cat...yes, a cat in a dog rescue, who is looking for a forever home. She is currently hanging out at Pet Supplies Plus in Independence, KY. If you would like more love in your life, you can learn more about Diego, Lexi, or Sofia on Save Our Shelter Dog's website.

Next, feel the love with Jackie Petersen Pet Photography, serving pet lovers in Northern Utah, then head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
