Project 52: No Place Like Home | Week 09

March 01, 2019  •  8 Comments

It’s Friday and time for another professional pet photography Project 52 blog circle post. Our theme for this week is “No Place Like Home.”  I work on location with clients, and often times that location is a client home. Pets are typically more comfortable in their familiar environments, especially cats, so in-home sessions are perfect for your feline family members. This trio of felines was photographed in their home.

Next up is Jessica Wasik with Bark & Gold Photography, celebrating the joy and love between Pittsburgh pets and their people.

you would like to book a custom pet portrait session or send your pet on a fantasy adventure, use the hot pink "BOOK NOW" button to the right of this post (at the bottom of your screen on mobile), send us an email to suzi [at] petlovephotography.com, or give us a call at 513-288-1650 in the Greater Cincinnati area or at 650-382-3242 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I totally agree about home photos for kitties. The last kitty looks like our Barney!

Love the kitties! For sure, they are much happier in their own home - I don't think I would photograph a cat any other place - but their special place. My favorite is the first image - but the others show the kitties doing what they normally do.

Great images of the cats in their environment! Love the sweet expression of the 3rd image :)

I too love photographing cats in their own home, it's great when you can capture them doing all the usual things that their pet parents love so much.

Photographing cats in their home is so different to photographing dogs... they are all adorable.
