Project 52: Leading Lines | Week 14

April 06, 2018  •  10 Comments

It’s Friday and time for another professional pet photography Project 52 blog circle post; this week it’s Week 14 and our challenge was “leading lines.” Leading lines are a compositional element used to draw your eye to the subject.

For this week’s outing, Mr. Bojangles and I took advantage of our one day of Spring weather to explore some new areas. We were in Northern Kentucky for a doggy Easter egg hunt, so a quick trip down to the river in Covington was in order. Fortunately, we found some leading lines to help us complete our challenge for the week.

For our first leading lines image John A. Roebling helped us out...well, his statue located at the foot of his bridge in Covington did at any rate.

We walked a little way down the riverfront and discovered some more great photo spots and leading lines. We definitely plan to return to this area on a day that is not quite so blustery.

To see where the next set of lines leads, head over to see Sandra McCarthy Photography-Serving Southern NH, then visit the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

If you would like to book "A Day in the Life" session, our documentary-style session or any other custom pet portrait session, use the hot pink "BOOK NOW" button to the right of this post (at the bottom of your screen on mobile), send us an email to suzi [at] petlovephotography.com, or give us a call at 513-288-1650 in the Greater Cincinnati area or at 650-382-3242 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mr. Bojangles is my spirit animal I think. I like the use of the statue, I wouldn't have thought of that.
