Project 52: Wood | Week 31

August 04, 2017  •  11 Comments

It's Week 31 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and our theme for the week is "wood." Mr. Bojangles and I decided that wood was the perfect theme for our favorite local park's posing log. So, we packed up to the park and our favorite photography location. Usually, we don't feature so much of the log itself, but since our theme for the week is wood, Mr. Bojangles decided we wouldn't be barking up the wrong tree to show so much of the log (which is actually an entire felled tree trunk.)

Next, head over to see Linda of serving the Indianapolis, IN area, and she what she wood do; then travel around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

If you would like to book a custom pet portrait session in your home or other favorite location, use the hot pink "BOOK NOW" button to the right of this post (at the bottom of your screen on mobile), send us an email to suzi [at], or give us a call at 513-288-1650 in the Greater Cincinnati area or at 650-382-3242 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Wow, Mr. B looks so small on the huge wood tree log! Great location and expression on Mr. B's face.
I never realized how big that log really is! Mr. B makes it look even bigger! The last image is my favorite because his ears are up and I love the bokeh! That is a great park.
Mr. Bonjangles has some impressive balance up there on that log! He looks like he's loving it. Such a ham!

Thanks, ladies! I know we use this location so much, but it always looks different. The ever changing nature of Mother Nature.

And yes, spot on Rochelle, shot with my 50mm 1.4.
I just LOVE pups on stumps and logs - one of my favorite compositions on trails and in woods! These are great! Nice job Mr. Bojangles!
