Project 52: Reflection | Week 34

August 25, 2017  •  1 Comment

August is winding down and we find ourselves at Week 34 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52. Our theme this week was "reflection," which could have gone many different ways. I chose to reflect life in our household as viewed in a reflection. Paco and Diana, the cat, are buddies and like to play together (in fact, they're the only two in the house who actually play.) I had just changed the sheets which got both a dog and cat seal of approval. Now, a lot of times you don't get to see the cute things these two do when they play together, because they always seem to stop when they know you're looking at them. So, I decided to be a little more subtle and photograph the action as reflected in the mirror. Since I wasn't looking at them directly, they couldn't tell I was actually watching them.

It all started out innocently enough.

Then Diana decided she needed to get Paco's attention for playtime.

Shortly after this frame Diana had a freak out and started burrowing under the comforter at the end of the bed before she ran off.

After you check out multiples perspectives from Rochelle from Dark Sapphire Pet Photography, Nelson, New Zealand, head around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.
