Project 52: Emotion | Week 48

December 01, 2017  •  3 Comments

Hard to believe it's already Week 48 or professional pet photography blog circle Project 52! Kind of gets you a little emotional, doesn't it? This year will be over before we know it. Conveniently, "emotion" is our theme for this week. One of the most important elements a photographer can capture when photographing pets or people is emotion. Whether the emotion is happy, sad, angry, or somewhere in between. Emotion is what makes us connect with the subject.

The first image is not a recent image, but it provides such an emotional connection with the subject.  Joanna | St. Bernard | Cincinnati & San Francisco Pet PhotographerJoanna | St. Bernard | Cincinnati & San Francisco Pet Photographer This next image is also an older image, but it goes about evoking an emotional reaction from the viewer. Finally, we have a new image from this week with Mr. Bojangles. As usual, we are in our favorite park on our favorite posing log. The direct eye contact from Mr. Bojangles provides toy you with an emotional connection, To see more emotion, head over to see Danyel with Wag to my Heart serving the Portland, OR metro area, and then around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

I look at the first image and I immediately think "the eyes are a window to her soul." I love the image of Paco! That is awesome.
