Project 52: Pets & People | Week 36

September 09, 2016  •  4 Comments

We're at Week 36 of professional pet photography blog circle Project 52 and the topic of "Pets & People." As we've been doing for most of this year, we're covering another chapter from "The Visual Toolbox: 60 Lessons for Stronger Photographers" by David DuChemin. The chapter was actually about photographing people, but since we're pet photographers, we had to add them into the mix with people. Some of the most valued images for clients are ones with both pets and their people.

So, while this is not necessarily the type of picture I would normally show clients, because Mr. Bojangles isn't looking, I do like it of him and the BF because of the sunset.

Here is a recent favorite of pets and people from a recent client shoot.

Now, to see more people and pets, head over to Little White Dog Pet Photography - Sioux Falls, SD, and then around the rest of the blog circle until you end up back here.

If you would like to book a custom pet portrait session in your home or other favorite location, use the hot pink "BOOK NOW" button to the right of this post (at the bottom or your screen on mobile), send us an email to suzi [at] petlovephotography.com, or give us a call at 513-288-1650 in the Greater Cincinnati area or at 650-382-3242 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I think so love that image on the steps. The contrast between the green nature and the city in the background is wonderful. with me, pet is love!

I think street photography with people and pets may be one of my most favorite things to do. Love the photo of the pups and people in the city.
